Rfactor 2 indy 500 mods1/28/2024 ![]() ![]() Synopsis: The car seems like a 'rough draft' an unfinished and underdeveloped prototype.a little too 'unfinished' for my tastes.but a good effort, per se. Cornering is exceptional -on the "Formula 1" level and the damage model is good. The car -for the better or worse- accelerates and decelerates very quickly, almost unrealistically. The sounds emitted from the car engine -as well as the driving physics of the car- almost reminisce of a cross between a prototype racer and a hovercraft. There are grooves on the dashboard which to just enough of a degree 'quasi-obfuscate' the driving view so that there isn't sufficient visibility of the track for a 'do-able' racing experience.Įven with the keyboard (which I play all racing sims), the steering is somewhat too 'quirky' and not fluid enough but not that bad per se. It is also too 'dark' for my tastes -something that Darth Vader would be extraordinarily 'at home' with. The interior is awesome and very well done and very very high tech. I mean "concept" for both the better and the worse: But really takes a lot of practice, now I'm midfield. Decrease rear arb, soften front spring, increase front toe - this helped for me a bit with the terrible understeer. Don't forget to map and use the push to pass feature. This is an interesting and unique vehicle which looks, feels, and drives like a futuristic "concept" car.
